In a Windows Service application developed in .NET 1.1 using .NET
Remoting the following error message was thrown:
"The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( .NET Runtime ) cannot be
found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or
message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be
able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and
Support for details. The following information is part of the event: .NET
Runtime version 1.1.4322.2032- Setup Error: Failed to load resources from
resource file
Please check your Setup."
After the error the service is stopped and I saw in eventviewer the
following message:
"The "Service name"service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1
time(s)."
On that computer is installed also .Net Framework 2.0 Beta2 and SQL Server
2005 Beta 2.
The server used for database by the application is SQL Server 2005 Beta 2.
Does anyone know something about it ??
