Open Source R.Base compared to VB

Vacuum Sealed

Hi all

I have a project I'm thinking of undertaking, the only drawback is that
the language is in R.Base Environment and I am way more comfortable in
VB, more specifically Excel & Access.

This project is based upon computational statistical analysis for trend
patterns over a given period of time.

Is there an equivalent in any of the VB Family that I can use that
mirrors the R.Base Environments or will I have to go back to the
drawing-board and learn this new language?

TIA
Mick.

You can purchase the Oterro ODBC driver from RBTI ( www.rbase.com) which
will allow you to use the RBase database fully while using VB or any other
language for the front end.
Oterro is essentially the complete engine without the R:Base GUI RDBMS and
forms development environment.
