The machined portion of this tool appears to be well made and smooth functioning. The lower rating is for the handle and the bit retention method. The wooden handle arrived split the entire length. The retainer for the bits is a loose o-ring which could be easily lost on the job site when changing tips. Upgrades would be a synthetic handle and a universal 1/4 inch bit holder (e.g. snappy quick change).
