WinSxS: dlls in applicationpath and not in WinSxS folder

Hello

I have an application, which needs the Redistributable C++ from
Microsoft.

I don't want to install it by a different setup. I would like to copy
the dll to my exe in the folder. Is there a way to do this? In the
past it works. But with the new WinSxS idea it doesn't.

My motivation is: I would like to run my application from an usb
drive. It should run on all win xp.

Thank you for your help

bye

Urs

That's nice. Did you have a question about the C++ language?
