Me too, but I must say, this is one case where I prefer Bob Dylan's original
version to the rocked-up remake.

Here's the Beau Brummels' version. It was a single release only, not on an
album. I prefer it to the Association version, but not to the Dylan
original:

The Brummels' version was actually a pretty big hit in the Dallas area;
probably the only place in the country where it was as it just barely
cracked to top 100 nationally.

Gotta agree that almost nobody seems to put this across like Bob. The only version I've heard that I buy is Johnny Cash's. Not The Band, not even Bobby Sherman.

I just love the Association... yes, the songs are very commercial, but they had such beautiful harmonies...

The Brummel's version was a hit here too, and I always liked it.

Doug Sahm does One Too Many Mornings as a medley with Got To Sing A
Happy Song

If only Jerry Lee Lewis would do a version. His cover versions are
always definitive.
