If changing their name helped a person's career, then let them change
their name! a person can be just as "authentic" calling themself "Bob Dylan"
or "King Tut" or "Donald Duck" or "Mary Queen of Scotts" as they can by
calling themself by their given name... a name does NOT define a person, or
have any bearing on honesty or authenticity... a lot of superlative movie
stars, for example, who have provided enormous pleasure and entertainment
have changed their names, and if this has assisted them in their careers,
well then, good for them!

Absolutely. You don't have to be Jewish to adopt a stage name. Marion
Morrison became John Wayne, Archie Leach became Cary Grant, Stephanie
Germanotta became Lady Gaga, Shawn Carter became Jay-Z, and so on, and so
on, and so on. The whole thing's ridiculous.
