python. You might want to try a mailinglist specific to your problem...

Probably searched on "simulation" and "circuit" and ran into some
old post about simulating the behavior of electric circuits using Python
classes for components...
I suspect, however, that the intent of the assignment is asking what
physical component can be used "in place of" (simulate) some switched
object (maybe the object is a motor or solenoid actuator, but for
purposes of the assignment it is the /switch/ which is being tested to
ensure it can handle the load).
So, to the OP... What simple electrical component consumes power
(ie, acts as a load)... And for the calculations -- Ohm's law should
answer the need.
