Ruby scripting

Brad Winborg

Ruby scripting - I am just starting to learn Ruby and I wanted to know
if anyone out there knows it well. I am trying to do a project and I
have run into a problem.

I have an executable file that when run creates (n) number of error
logs. So from a command prompt you run the ,exe with with (n) being the
number of logs you wish to create. We will make n =10. Then using ruby
create a program that will search through those 10 error logs and find
and display how many times the word error is found and how many times
the word warning is found. Then Produce a report showing the number of
error and warning log messages for 10-minute over the entire length of
time represented by the generated log files.

Not standing up to you before is perhaps my biggest crime. What's yours?

I read that.

You might be interested in some of the books I've been reading on hard
neuroscience. No GUT yet, but brain researchers are coming up with some very
interesting concepts that are definitely more compelling (to me) than those
that are purely philosphical.

I'll admit I've ordered it from Waterstones because I'm curious and
through them I get points. I oppose the practicies of the church, but
that doesn't mean I should be ignorent to the beleifs.

Would your reading include Ray Kurzweil? My brother has been
haranguing me to read the Singularity is Near. He just wrankles, when
I tell him it's all in the Book of the SubGenius, as well as
Neuromancer, Repo Man, Terminator, and HitchHiker's Guide. Some like
it straight, no chaser.

Giving people the benefit of the doubt until I had to have my anus
retreaded. THAT GOES DOUBLE FOR THAT HACK JESUS.

My, my, where did the time go?
Same place your brain cells and $30 went, I reckon:
to SIX FLAGS OVER VENUS.

Sweet Jesus, you'll make the pope's choir yet."

Why are you having your anus retarded? You just spoke out of it and it
seems expertly retarded right now.
