Hi Sarah

Saturday arvo. I've trained jo, done the shopping for the week, did some
gardening, had a shower and now I'm reading some philosophical blogs
while I wait for Dana and the kids to come home. Later today we are
going to my friend's birthday party and I lent him my bbq.

Its not the big gas powered one Warwick got me but a small one you have
to put wood and/or charcoal in. After talking with you about cooking
meat I've drifted back to cooking meat over hot coals. The taste is
better and sitting and waiting for the meat to slowly cook while nursing
a beer is very relaxing.

My friend doesn't know how to light a bbq but I do. I'm keeping the
skills of our forefathers alive :-)

Anyhow back to the subject at hand, stupidity. There are apparently 5 or
6 laws but I don't think they are worth repeating. Instead I'll give you
a quote I've been using for decades:

"And still they gaz'd and still the wonder grew,
That one small head could carry all he knew."

Talking of stupidity... I posted to this NG instead of emailing my friend.

"Numquam reparabile", the old Romans would have said.

Must be annoying to give us all an unintended peek into your private
conversation.
At least it is good to hear you shower after gardening. :-)
