Status of mod_ruby now ....?

Web Reservoir

Hi,

Just wanted to know/confirm if there is any working or project going on
for mod_ruby.

I am waiting for a seamless deployment support for deployment.

I am not too keen to adopt the VPS scenario. I think shared hosting will
be great for a start.

PHP just holds a good luck in this scenario. Perhaps the only PLUS point
of PHP is deployment, where it beats ruby.

Just waiting for some good and confirmed news.

Thanks

I am the maintainer of a framework which uses mod_ruby called Arrow (http://deveiate.org/proj...
), but modruby.net has fallen into a bit of disrepair. I have
contributed patches to mod_ruby in the past, and I have a few more
pending, so I was planning on asking Shugo-san if he'd let me help out
with keeping it up to date. Perhaps I'll do that now.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. I use Capistrano 2 and FreeBSD's
packagetools for deploying Arrow apps, but I don't know what you'd
consider 'seamless'.
