how let (fire)watir run with the IE Browser Not Visible

which command can do this?
Although I know (ruby *.rb -d )can achieve this effect,but I want yo
know in (fire)watir!

but use firewatir ,ruby *.rb -d can't hideb the firefox browser

As of now you can't hide Firefox browser.
