Re: Help needed to DRY helpers and proper MVC with Ruby

Your question is perhaps best asked on the rails list. There are a
couple of different things you could do to make your ActiveRecord usage
more efficient, but this isn't the forum for that.

http://lists.rubyonrails.org/mailman/list...

As far as making this code more rubyish, most rubyists seem to prefer
iterators with blocks, e.g.:

user.roles.each do |role|
role.rights.each do |right|
...
end
end

to for loops.

What are you talking about, Mr Measures? You're typically ignoring the
facts and shifting the attention away from them.

Here they are again:

Israel's decades' long occupation of Palestinian lands, the gross and
blatant ongoing human rights abuses and un-Democratic unequal legal
treatment Palestinians, the systematic incremental theft of Palestinian
lands and the long list of grossly disproportionate war crimes committed
by the Israelis against the Palestinians.

Here are documented details of the *illegal* behavior of Israel toward
the Palestinian people:

Mr Measures is apparently left speechless after having been shown that
the statement, "Essentially, there was no Arab Palestine for the
Israelites to take over," was false.

Seems he's too cowardly to admit that he was wrong.

"International Law" does not exist. We have only "treaty law." The
principles you cite are embodied in a series of treaties to which the
US was not a signing party until after the Indians were merely
graveyards. The acts committed by the US in exterminating the Indians
were certainly monstrous, immoral, reprehensible, and inexcusable.
But not "violations of international law."

However, the atrocities committed by Israel very much are violations
of law that Israel helped to establish during the Nuremberg trials.
That Israel flaunts those principles now is offensive to every
civilized principle. Israel can avoid censure only by pretending
that it is not happening.

So you're suggesting that that makes it okay for others to steal too.
I see.

How about if I take your house and throw you out on the street. Is that
okay because the white man did that to the American Indians?

Turn about is fair play, Measures?
