East Coast Central/South Florida Rubyists?

Gregory Brown

4/1/2007 2:50:00 AM

I'll be in Port Saint Lucie, Florida from April 7th-13th

Are there any Ruby Users Groups within a couple hours of there meeting
during that time?

Or random Ruby folks who might want to get together? I'll be staying
with family so I have no idea how easy it'll be for me to travel, but
if I plan something ahead of time, I might be able to work things out.
(Or if you are *really* close by or want to travel to PSL, it should
be easy for me ;) )

We have a South Florida Ruby Brigade, but our April meeting isn't
until Monday April 16th. Maybe we could move it up to accomodate you
:)

We meet in in Ft Lauderdale which is probably 2.5 hours from PSL.

I wouldn't mind meeting up.

I live in Boynton Beach myself, which is about a 1.5 hours from PSL.
Jupiter is about halfway in between us and I may be traveling up there
around that time anyhow, so maybe we could meet up there.

Regards,
Ryan

Maybe about 1.5 but everyone I drive with goes about 100mph :)

Definitely possible. Catch up with me off list.

I'm in Melbourne, FL, about 45 minutes to the north. There is an ORUG
meeting in Orlando each month, which would be almost 2 hours away, but
the time is not set yet.

Anyhow, if you feel like getting a beer and a dog (mmm...Long
Doggers), then feel free to drop me an email.

Orlando would be rough ( we're not touristy enough to go for fun, and
my family is not nerdy enough to sit through a Ruby meeting ).
Melbourne is a maybe. If you wanted to come down my way, i'd totally
be able to catch up. Heading south is easier for me because I've got
family with workplaces scattered from Stuart down to Palm Beach.

Definitely down for beer, not sure if I'm in on hotdogs. :)

Anyway, I'll trade mails with you off list once I figure out if and
when I'd be able to get rides places.
