Hello ruby users,

I am not new at all for ruby because i have studied for a month about
ruby. Actually i need to create a heatmap (the overlay image that shows
the click locations in my web page) for my site using ruby on rails
which i got reference from

successfull to create heatmap in my local machine. Also i tried
everything installing (ImageMagick, RMagick, Ruby as well as other
needed software) and i am success now to create the images using
RMagick/ImageMagick in the server from COMMAND LINE only. When i run the
image creating code form command line as ruby something.rb. It reads the
data from a text file and writes into a file that shows the click maps
of my site. But when i run this same code from browser from a controller
class and method, it does not work neither it gives me the error.

And hereby now i want to know how to run or how to call the something.rb
file which generates the image successfully from command line (SSH in
PUTTY) from my controller class (calling method). How can we execute
that .rb file from my ruby code (executing ruby files).

I dont know whether i could make you understood my problem. Please help
me. I am spending lots of days for this but i could not do.

The major difference was the success of congress in getting the peasants to
believe they were acting in their best interest. In North Korea, USSR,
Cambodia and today's China (none of which are literally communist) the
population knew they were being shafted daily, but they are disarmed. There
is no excuse for what the sheep in the U.S. condone. A combination of lies,
and stupidity, make it possible.

The socialist brand image problem has been mostly corrected, although
progressives refuse to acknowledge that their agenda is one and the
same with socialism [communism]. KFC may be the result of a name
change, but it is still selling Kentucky Fried Chicken. The same is

Who is Mike Klonsky?

Mike Klonsky is one of the founders of Communist Party (Marxist-
Leninist) (USA) and the Students for a Democratic Society a fervent
Obama supporter, friend and former member of the terrorist group the
Weatherman.

an open member of the Obama campaign. Klonsky runs a blog on the

Who is Mike Klonsky? Well, on one level, he might just appear to be a
protege of Bill Ayers in the education world. He received, as I detail
below, a $175,000 grant from the Ayers/Obama-led Annenberg Challenge
to run the Small Schools Workshop that he and Ayers started in Chicago
to push their school reform agenda.

But that is only half the story. Klonsky was one of the most
destructive hardline maoists in the SDS in the late 60's who emerged
from SDS to form a pro-Chinese sect called the October League that
later became the Beijing-recognized Communist Party (Marxist-
Leninist). As chairman of the party, Klonsky travelled to Beijing
itself in 1977 and, literally, toasted the Chinese stalinist
leadership who, in turn, "hailed the formation of the CP(ML) as
'reflecting the aspirations of the proletariat and working people,'
effectively recognizing the group as the all-but-official US Maoist
party." (Elbaum, Revolution in the Air, 228).

I know of no indications that Klonsky has ever expressed any regrets
about that activity. Perhaps like his SDS comrade, Ayers, he, too,
thinks he did not do enough back then. In my view they did more than
enough.

which are now equally familiar in America and England, and many
symptoms that point to a further development in the same direction:
the increasing veneration for the state, the fatalistic acceptance of
"inevitable trends," the enthusiasm for "organization" of everything
(we now call it "planning").

The character of the danger is, if possible, even less understood here
than it was in Germany. The supreme tragedy is still not seen that in
Germany it was largely people of good will, who, by their socialist
policies, prepared the way for the forces which stand for everything
they detest. Few recognize that the rise of fascism and Nazism was not
a reaction against the socialist trends of the preceding period but a
necessary outcome of those tendencies. Yet it is significant that many
of the leaders of these movements, from Mussolini down (and including
Laval and Quisling) began as socialists and ended as fascists or

lead straight to the abhorred tyranny. Most of the people whose views
influence developments are in some measure socialists. They believe
that our economic life should be "consciously directed," that we
should substitute "economic planning" for the competitive system. Yet
is there a greater tragedy imaginable than that, in our endeavor
consciously to shape our future in accordance with high ideals, we
should in fact unwittingly produce the very opposite of what we have

All forms of collectivism lead logically and inevitably to tyranny.
The Soviet Union and Nazi Germany are examples of countries which had
gone down “the road to serfdom” and reached tyranny. Within a
centrally planned economic system, the distribution and allocation of
all resources and goods would devolve onto a small group, which would
be incapable of processing all the information pertinent to the
appropriate distribution of the resources and goods at the central
planners’ disposal. Disagreement about the practical implementation of
any economic plan combined with the inadequacy of the central
planners’ resource management would invariably necessitate coercion
(force) in order for anything to be achieved.

Socialism was bound to fail as an economic system because only free
markets--powered by individuals wheeling and dealing in their own
interest--could generate the information necessary to intelligently
coordinate social behavior. In other words, freedom is a necessary
input into a prosperous economy.

And the possibility of rational economic planning under socialism?
Yes, we ran that experiment as well. The Third World tried it and
promptly dropped to income levels last recorded in the Pleistocene
Epoch. The Second (Communist) World tried it in massive police-state
doses and...well...dissolved.

I think they [socialism] could exist as some sort of medieval system.
They could exist in that form with a great deal of starvation removing
excess population. It's all a question of why should an economy not
continue to exist. But whatever economic advance Russia has achieved
was, of course, achieved by using the technology developed by the
West. I know that the Russians would be the last ones to deny it.
