No I don't feel like I was bashed then.
Just thought I'd comment that the reaction was very defensive and had
probably led to losing someone from the mailing list. Sometimes a more
sympathetic and less aggressive approach could be used towards newbies,
even if they are calling your kid cool... ( ;

Yup but he kind of deserved it, I mean if you behave differently you
will always have to have a thicker skin (believe me :( ), but most of it
was for his rude stylen, I guess.

Did I?, hopefully not!
I just thaught the communities reaction was quite normal, but it is very
good to defend when somebody gets bashed, just I think maybe he kind of
asked for it :(
