I don't recommend doing this if you want your extension to be
compatible with the current Windows Ruby release.

You can try -- I'm going to be interested in picking a lot of peoples'
brains at the conference about this issue. See a notice that I'll be
posting later tonight.

Isn't mingw supposed to be compatible with the MSVC (which the
One Click Installer uses now instead of some newer VC++) builds?

Ara mentioned some incompatibility on ruby-core (a problem with isascii IIRC)
but it had been solved in CVS for a while.

That's true but why do you think people always wish to have their kids go
to better school districts? Do you think, perhaps, that the better
school districts pay more for their teachers because they have a better
tax base to draw from?

I am asking you for a number.

The minimum wage has been slowly

What do you suggest be done about it? Increase the minimum wage? Then
what do you about your employees that have gotten raises and are no
longer making minimum wage? Do you also give them raises so that they
are also elevated? Then what do you do about the price of your product
or service? Increase the price on it? Then we are back to where we
were.

You mean like a budget since 2009?
