Thanks for the kind words. Yes, the main, editor-specific source code is in (default installation)
C:\Program Files\TextPal\TextPal.rbw

Some Ruby libraries the application calls are in the same folder, similarly having a .rbw extension. Also used is the AutoIt COM library from

If detected on the computer, TextPal produces speech through the APIs of the most popular screen reader programs for Windows: JAWS from
