Has anyone been able to get SMTP to work with gmail? If so, how did
you get the SSL working?

i have a similar question,
has anyone figured out how to RTFM or how ro STWF yet?,
i keep wondering.....

Okay, I got it working. I did a fresh install of the OneClick Ruby
Installer for Windows (ruby184-17_rc2.exe) and it works fine.

Just an FYI for anyone else that has encountered:
OpenSSL::SSL::SSLError
