Integrating PHP app with Ruby on Rails app?

Hi Ruby(and Ruby on Rails) Gurus,

I am working on a website that uses Drupal as the CMS and ruby on rails
as the main app. I would like to integrate the two in a way so that the
user does not have to login twice, once for Drupal and once for the
ruby on rails app. Does anyone have any experience with this? I was
thinking of have my ruby on rails app read the authentication cookie of
drupal. However, I am not sure how to decode the drupal cookie or if
this would work. While searching for a solution and I encountered this
article but I am quite confused by it.

Here is a real story with a Jew for Judge on Landlord-Tenant Issues.
In his city, I only own two homes. The city is corrupt and so is the
system and I stopped buying in this city. Here is the story.

A tenant was in the arear for three months as I was a sucker to her
claims th money will come from here and from there. Eventually a
social agency sponsored by the recovery funds took her case and paid
the rent provided that I would receive the fourth month from her.
Well I arranged to allocate part of her deposit for the month and she
would give me some food using her food stamps (may be not hers
originally) for that month. I selected the foods and she bought them
and gave them to me. Month got paid, Agency paid the three months.
Now she wanted to pay over 75% of her rent by food stamps and
furthermore she broke a two-year old stove beyond repair and I had to
buy a used one as she had no money. Prior to breaking the stove, she
called me to say that the electric company turned off her electricity
and she attempted to have her sixteen year old son to get an
identification card as eighteen so that she could avoid paying her
large electric bill but she could not. "Would I please turn the
electricity on?" I had to think. A day later, now that the agency
approved payment and not paid, I wrote a comprhensive agreement that
electricity has nothing to do with the lease and anyone could turn it
off without any provisions. That proved to be my costly error. I did
not consult with an attorney and I thought an agreement would hold. I
turned the electricity off. Legal Aid called me to tell me I could
not do that. Shock. I called my attorney and she said that was
right. I immediately turned on after four days.

When she broke the stove I told her she should pay for it. She was
angry and I told her I was raising her rent or she should move
somewhere else. She cursed. I did not answer. I filed for
eviction. That is when the Jew Judge came in. Tenant began
destroying the home and take pictures for Code Enforcement in that
corrupt city. For instance, there was a leaky faucet outside. She
filled a five gallon plastic container with water and placed green
algea on a stone from somewhere else. Took pictures. She left the
grass high, her responsibility to cut it and Code Enforcement asked me
to cut it. She took off all electric fixtures of the ceilings and
sometime broke the ceilings. Code Enforcement a black man, she was
also black, wrote up over eight violations and gave me fifteen days to
fix them. He would write a violation in general terms to mean more
than it is: Fix the plumbing outside meanning to replace a washer on
the faucet outside. To a judge, plumbing is major league. A washer
is easily fixed.

She came to court with a young 43 year old attorney with a
counterclaim of nine thousand dollars. I refused even to look at her
or her attorney. They tried to convince the Jew Judge of their claim
and I did not even think how to approach this counterclaim immediately
posted when trial is taking place.. "When did Code Enforcement come?"
Asked the Jew. She answered, "On the Sixth." But on the sixth the
eviction was filed. Obviously Code Enforcement was retaliation.
However hard the Jew tried to get me wrong he could not on this. Here
is a tenant who lived in the premises for eight months and only on
eviction filing comes with claims. All until she broke out beyond her
attorney, "I was in the dark." She said. Jew asked,"What do you
mean?" She replied, "He turned the electricity off." Jew
answered,"That is a smoking gun." Before he gets carried away, I
ushered him to pick my contract. He read it without care. "You mean
if I sign a contract with you to kill me, would you kill me?" he
said. I answered, "That would be a crime here." Now, he ordered, "
One thousand dollars for turning the electricity off and one thousand
dollars in punitive damages." I forgot to tell you that when I signed
to turn the electricity on and contacted the electric company they
told me my tenant had "Unauthorized use of electricity." She was
stealing electicity for four months.

But I was able to get her and her attorney to a settlement where I
would end up paying five hundred dollars for her to move and I was
able to destroy her color copier she used for fraudulant cliams. She
moved out at her cost and lost more than one thousand dollars in
items.

The damned Jew was waiting just for something like she said to put
blame on me. I have to deal with this bastard as he is the only one
dealing with such issues.
