It's working for me:

>ping www.ruby-doc.org

Pinging ruby-doc.org [207.44.206.37] with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from 207.44.206.37: bytes=32 time=34ms TTL=45

Perhaps it's a DNS issue on your end. Can you ping that IP directly?

No, and no. I cannot ping that IP from here. That's rather curious....
