About IQ and race

Hello...

Read this:

"Zena Blau (1981) compared 579 black and 523 white mothers
and there fifth- and sixth-grade children in communities around
Chicago. Overall, the two groups differed by 10 IQ points. But when
Blau compared black children with white children of similar social and
economic rank, the scores of the white children averaged only 6 IQ
points higher then those of the black children. So when only two
environmental factors were minimized, the gap declined by 40% ! The
clear implication is that if other social differences were taken into
account, the gap would become still smaller or would disappear entirely."
