Anyone else noticing double posts from gmail (and some others) on this

Yes, I'm noticing double posts...

It seems like it double posted to a thread to which I replied when I
viewed that thread again to check some new replies. Not certain
though.

I'm also seeing them in Gmail. Not sure if the list is actually
getting two copies, or if they're just echoing one to the inbox.

Haven't noticed any double-posts in comp.lang.ruby here at individual.net,
so it might be a ML-/Google-specific trouble.

If you look closely, you'll see that one of them is your sent message
and one of them is your copy of the message the mailing list sends
you. Google used to (or at least seemed to used to) fold these
together and it is not doing so anymore.

You're right, and yes, it definitely used to.
