Ruby CVS and YARV

I've got a job for YARV, but it seems that I have to wait until ruby
anon cvs is back up for me to get a working verison of ruby/YARV on my
machine (due to the specific version of 1.9 that YARV requires).

Is there another way? How long until anon cvs is back?

Dan

Hey Nobu,

This is what I get when I try to login to cvs (taken from the
instructions on the cvs guide on ruby-lang
http://www.ruby-lang.org/en/200...):

$ cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs.ruby-lang.org:/src login
Logging in to :pserver:anonymous@cvs.ruby-lang.org:2401/src
CVS password:
cvs [login aborted]: connect to
cvs.ruby-lang.org(210.163.138.100):2401 failed: Connection refused

Whoops, just realized that you meant 'use cvsup instead'. Gotcha.

Not cvs, cvsup.
http://cvs.ruby-lang....

And snapshot tarballs are available now.
ftp://ftp.ruby-lang.org/pub/ruby/snaps...

Anyone interested in getting YARV working with ruby via cvsup, email
me. It's not for the faint of heart. And it's not really _that_ bad
either. I can just save you some time.
