Returning a C# structure containing a nested array of structures

I'm having problems returning a C# structure that contains a nested array of
structures when I call it from C++6. The problem is that the structure is
returned unmodified so all the variables remain in their initialised state. I
think this is a known problem and that using ICollection is the work around
but can someone confirm this and give a code sample (managed side and
unmanaged please)?

It's also worth mentioning that these new ultralite cases have the
advantages of both hard case and gig bag. They're made of a sort of
styrofoam that's molded to the shape of the guitar and is hardened on
the outside, making it strong, and then covered with cordura. The ones
I have are even LIGHTER THAN A GIG BAG, while offering nearly the same
protection as a case. They've got a shoulder strap, making them REALLY
easy to schlep around the city, and unlike a gig back, you don't need to
worry about people smashing up against it in the subway when it gets
crowded.

Only trouble is, the company that makes the best one, really only makes
one size that's suitable of any sort of jazz box. Their dreadnought
case fits a 16" archtop perfectly. Unfortunately, they don't make one
for a 17" or for a 15" (or even a 335 for that matter).

Here's the one I've got:
