i'm using the odbc.net data provider with the mysql odbc driver
(myodbc-2.50.39). when selecting data from a table that has an empty string
in a field (as opposed to null), i'm getting the "NO_DATA" error. i've seen
numerous posts on this that all point to qfe Q319243. i've downloaded it and
installed it, but it doesn't fix the problem.
the fix seems to install version 3.520.8504.0 of the odbc32.dll file, i have
version 3.520.9001.0 prior to installing the patch.
does anyone have any additional info, or is there other fixes that need to
be put into place?
my server is w2k server with sp3 and all latest stuff from windows update.
i have the latest .net service packs. besides mysql, nothing else is
installed on the server (besides w2k stuff - iis, msmq).
any suggustions greatly appreciated.
