Hi everybody,

Does anybody know if it is possible to 'format' a textfield in a form
so that only valid date's can be entered, eg. 03-04-04.
what i mean is that the dashes where already in the textfield and there
can be no typemismatching when the entered dat is sent to the
(access)database
(i'm using sql to send to database)
Probaly the example of wha i want to achieve is in MsAccess it self where
the formatting
options are build in, but hey, how to do this on a webpage,???
Any suggestions are welcome, Thanks in Advance,
Anthony.

Hi Anthony,

Yes take a look at J-Bots Masked Field Entry or you may wish to wait until later this week when introduce a new Date Picker control
for form fields.

Note- Masked Edit will insure that the format is correct not the content of the numbers.
