Python at SIAM conference

There were several sessions devoted to "scripting" languages
during last weekend's Computational Science and Engineering
conference (http://www.siam.org/meeti...) -- the talks
were 95% Python and 5% Perl.

Had I known, I would have snuck a Ruby talk in there...

The next conference is in two years.
