While not a wise idea, you can cahnge the dependencies for Visual Studio
.NET and compile from the IDE. It is still a bit buggy, as Microsoft is
planning on releasing Visual Studio .NET 2003 next year to be the tool for
1.1. Much of the configuration is done through config files. I have also
seen suggestions of changing some registry keys.

I personally would wait until next year to move wholeheartedly into .NET
1.1.
