Difference between VS 6 & VS.NET 2005

Hello.

I have upgraded the version of the Visual studio from VS.6 to VS.NET 2005.

I would like to know what are the differences I should be aware of.

Several things :
I couldn't find any source-safe version
Found answer at :

but couldn't find any VSS folder with setup.exe on the VS 2005 disks.

Nevertheless, I couldn't find the api-viewer (in VB.6 - something nice that
holds BTW list of all the apis stand for Windows & VB.6 applications).

The 2 above are most important for next development (source-safe +
api-viewer).
