Hello
I try to install Visual studio Code Name Orcas beta1 in Vista
Ultimate Traditional Chinese OS but when install dotnet frame work 3.5 the
installation
message shows error. I look at the error log and find it shows error message
as below:
[06/24/07,13:38:08] Microsoft .NET Framework v3.5: [2] Error code 87 for
this component means "parameter error"ã??
"
[06/24/07,13:38:08] Microsoft .NET Framework v3.5: [2] Setup Failed on
component Microsoft .NET Framework v3.5
[06/24/07,13:38:09] VS70pgui: [2] DepCheck indicates Microsoft .NET
Framework v3.5 is not installed.
the environment is as below:
1. OS : Vista Ultimate Tradition Chinese Version
2. VS 2005 professional
I also try to install DotNet Framework 3.5 beta1 runtime separately and the
error message shows that my system is not suited for the installation. The
installation needs Windows XP service pack 2.
Did anyone know this issue?
