I heard that the dot net framework can be installed only by windows
installer 2.0 or above. I am creating a set up package for my
application written in vb.net 2005/ms access using inno setup.I want
to deploy my app on Win 98(both editions),Win 2000 and XP. And I also
read that if dot net framework is already installed on a PC then it
should have windows installer installed. But if dot net framework is
not already installed on a PC (win 98/2000) then my inno set up
package should first install windows installer and then install dot
net framework.Can I distribute the Windows Installer along with my
app? Is there any redistribution licensing issues? And how can I know
whether Windows Installer has already beem installed on a PC? Which
registry path should I read for that?
