The ants are driving me crazy

I've created an MSI package that successfully installs my programm but
the desktop shortcut contains a generic icon, not the one from my
EXE. Can anyone help? I tried using the ICON property of the
shortcut that I added the the User's Desktop node of the file system
editor, but this property is a little confusing and no matter what I
did with it I still ended up with the same generic icon. Can anyone
help me with clear & complete info on how to get the shortcut to show
the appropriate icon?
