Hello,
I'm unable to install (re-isntall) the 1.1 Framework.
Recently, one user started having trouble running ANY .net apps
(0xC0000005 Error - App Failed to Initialize).
As part of the troubleshooting a MS MVP suggested re-installing the
Framework.
I un-installed the Framework with not problem.
But during re-intall, the install extracts and installs files, creates
the registry entries, and appears ti finish... almost. At the very
end, a rollback begins and the insall fails.
Below is an extract from the install log which details where things
start to go bad.
Any ideas on what's wrong? At this point I'm stumped, and can't seem
to find any answers (suggest a new goog term?).
