Best to do is request it to batsman(maintainer of RPA). He loves taking
package requests and placing them in the repository. It doesnt matter if
it uses an older version of a library, because its QA work, and
developers who release software shouldnt completely need to worry about
it when it comes to repositories which package the software for
developers. So you can rest easy and make more creative works while
someone else does teh package work.

If you are logged on irc.freenode.net.. he is in #rpa ;) theres also a
package request page at http://www.rubyar... which batsman has
been focusing on as well.
