J2ME?

What do people here think of J2ME? In today's news, Siemens announced
it would be using the Symbian OS (which means all the major phone
makers now have a common OS), with J2ME spreading by default as well.

"Symbian is the operating system system that is becoming the defacto
standard for the world's leading mobile phone makers. It is a rival
system to that being developed by software leader Microsoft."
