Custom Control Error Creating Control

Hi there,
I have web application which developed in VS 2008 in the production. The
problems occure when I tried to make change to the application with custom
control, the controls displayed in design mode with error message "Error
creating control" and when I tried to run the application, I got the error
message "Compilation Error" BC30456 'control' is not a member of
System.Web.UI.WebControls.Textbox I found the article at
https://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/ViewFeedback.aspx?FeedbackID=361826&wa=... but I could not find KB hotfix.

Please help. Thanks.
