Hi All,

Ive been testing MMIT on my Nokia 6210. It seems when I
send to much text data on a single page I get a 'Page Not
Accessible' error on my phone, however the WAP emulator is
fine reading it.

Is this a limitation of the 6210? My provider... perhaps
WAP itself? I know for sure its data size causing the
problem and not content as I have tried it with varying
scenarios, all with the same result.

The problem gets even more annoying when using the
integrated MMIT forms authentication. This adds a rather
large cookie value to the end of each link, thus greatly
increasing the size of the response. I find if I have 4
links on a page, the cookies push it over the limit and I
get my page error. Again the wap emulator can view it fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Andy Savage

Hi Andy,
Try to set the forms paginate-property to true, which allows several pages

Hi Arne,

Thanks for the reply, no joy however.

Besides, even if it did paginate properly, I still think
paginating after 3 links (to stop it going over this
seemingly filesize retriction) would be a little silly.

Any other ideas, I would be very grateful.

Regards,
Andy.

Hi again,

Done some research, and finally found the technical
specfications I needed. It seems the Nokia phone has a
response limit of 1397 bytes, andything more than that and
it throws an error.

Under forms authentication, im getting a 256 byte cookie
string added to each link on a page, add a few formatting
tags and it seems I am restricted to around 4 links per
page, without any content before the limit is hit.

So how can I make a useful WAP site if I cant even produce
a menu with more that 4 links on it.

Ideas please.

Regards,
Andy.
