Hello,
I was thinking more and more and i think that Open source and
Free software has develloped in reaction to capitalism, the capitalist
system do parcipate to social darwinism cause you can not climb the
social ladder if you don't have enough money to pay for the operating
system and for the compiler and for the database system etc. and to pay
for leaning and if you don't have enough money you can not cross or
climb the social ladder, so the capitalist system is very bad for the
weaker humans amongs us humans, this is why the Free software and Open
source have come in reaction to the captalistic system that do
participate a lot to social darwinism, so the "intentions" of Free
software and Open source are good i think, cause they have tried to help
the weaker humans among us that do not have money to buy softwares
and operating systems or to pay for learning... but i think the Open
source and Free software have failed since if the software is free and
doesn't cost money it will make the life difficult for developpers that
wants to sell there softwares, so i think that even the Open source and
Free Software are thus participating to social darwinism.
