Check sqlrelay:

http://sqlrelay.source...

I tested it a very short time only (I think with a MS SQL 2000, not even
sure;-), so I can't say more about it.

These days, the sky's the limit on such things. A friend of mine just
bought a new Ford with the "Sync" system onboard, and it's just amazing;
it syncs with his iPod, phone, whatever. If you put a CD into the
player, it rips it to the internal hard disk. It offers turn-by-turn
GPS. It has hands-free phoning and music with a voice-recognition
system. It even reads his text messages and emails to him.

All he needs now is a beanie with a satellite disk on top.

This is kinda the upper end of the spectrum, though. My car stereo just
has a dock for my Zune so I can listen to my podcasts and audiobooks. A
dock - instead of onboard memory - is nice because I can listen to my
earphones while I'm walking to and from the car, and just plug into the
dock when I'm driving for a more-or-less seamless listening experience.
