Re: how i can i get bios identifiew number or serial number

The WMI Win32_Bios class is probably what you want, if you're on Wn2k or above.
In VB.NET you'd use the Management classes, ManagementObject, ManagementScope.
This is C# and it's processes, but substitute Win32_Bios and see if any of the
properties return what you want.

string servername = ".";
ManagementScope ms = new ManagementScope("\\\\" + servername +
"\\root\\cimv2");
ManagementPath mp = new ManagementPath("Win32_Process");
ObjectGetOptions o = new ObjectGetOptions();
ManagementClass mc = new ManagementClass(ms, mp, o);

ManagementObjectCollection moc = mc.GetInstances();
foreach (ManagementObject mo in moc)
{
StringBuilder st = new StringBuilder ();
st.Append (mo["Name"]);
mo.Dispose() ;
}

I notice the Press treat workers from South-Asia and China
differently. For the South-asians, the emphasis is about their pitiful
conditions - unpaid, unfed, poor accommodation, poor health etc., all
which will be likely to evoke sympathies. For the Chinese, the
emphasis is on their protest. Why this biased threatment? Snaky
racism!

You are right. I noticed this too. Last week the china workers
assembled themselves of outside the MOM ministry to protest against
the employer for the unpaid wages. By this method they got their pay.
Whereas worrkers from south Asia like India and blangladesh, they were
left langusihed on their own to get their back pay from theri
employers. They are law-abiding and the very best they did is to go to
the MOM to lodge a complaint and then told to sit back to wait and
wait for reply. Whereas the chinamen doesnt care about waiting, they
just gather a hugh number of workers including those from other job
site elsewhere to create a protest against the employers in front of
the MOM. It showed that if these fearless China men were to live in
Singapore for years and then became PR and citizens, it will be a
growing protest force rising in Singapore..

It is disgraceful that you like to imitate someone handle. Why do you
use other people's nickname in the forum when you could use create
your own. By using other nickname you are saying to users here that
you want to limelight yourself as someone else you admire. If not, why
should you copy someone nickname as your own in your forum here when
you can make your own views of mind in your own way. Why hide under
soneone nickname, so to speak. You can't replace the other person
views and opinions by using another person's nickname.

You got it all wrong, idiot! The South-Asians are the ones getting
better treatment. They will receive a lot of sympathies. They will get
all sorts of help, e.g, food, medicine, accomodation, etc. The Chinese
(not Chinamen, you racist SOB) will get none of the above. They will
be considered by dumb S'poreans like you as trouble makers to be sent
home as soon as possible.

You are wrong! We should blame MOM keep issuing work permit even when
there are no work. Like the Bangla workers were abandoned and have no
work. Whereas, the China workers are still working on the project but
did not get their pay, they are worried that if they continue to work
and eventually don't get their pay, it will be worst.

>>> You are right. I noticed this too. Last week the china workers
