How to get music off iPod and put onto PC and iTunes

My pc crashed not long ago, and I lost all my important files
including all iTunes files. I was so upset because I thought I needed
to buy all those songs and videos all over again.

Finally, I turned to my friend for help and he told me that as long as
all songs and videos are still on the iPod, we can get them back to
our computer and iTunes easily.
