Hi everybody,
We have discovered a curious feature in Axapta reports: There can be
more duplicate names in report controls, this is, there can be more than one
control with the same name!!!
Of course, you cannot rename a control as the same name as other in
MorphX (it warns you when you try to do it), but the X++ compiler accepts as
valid reports with this feature, for example, when it is imported from an
xpo file.
We can use this hack in X++, for example, for referencing controls as
the same, if they are placed in distinct designs. But the question is: is
this an standard feature, or just a bug?
