Image Transparency Lost When Saving

I've searched through the archives in these newsgroups and throughout
Google in general, and everything seems to indicate that .NET 1.1
doesn't support saving transparent images to disk (either BMP, GIF, or
JPG).

Is this true?

If so, any idea on when Microsoft plans to fix that? It's great that I
can do it onscreen, but I *really* need to be able to save the
transparent image to disk. It seems like a pretty glaring omission.
Thanks!

Hi,

Try to save in PNG format, I did save full and semi transparent images in
one of my projects and works perfectly...

Thanks! I'll give that a shot.
