Calling an Oracle Store Procedure

Carol K

11/29/2006 2:01:00 PM

When I call a stored procedure from my app, I recieve the following message

ORA-06550: line1, Column 7:

PLS-00801: internal error [22503]

The code is ...

OracleCommand^ UserPassCmd = gcnew
OracleCommand("UNIX_PACK.VERIFY_ID(log_name, inuserpasswd, inapplid,
outuserid, outuserpasswd, outrc, outmess)",NestConnection);

UserPassCmd->CommandType = CommandType::StoredProcedure;

OracleParameter^ parmlog_name =
UserPassCmd->Parameters->Add("log_name",OracleType::VarChar,USER_PASS);

parmlog_name->Direction = ParameterDirection::Input;

parmlog_name->Value = log_name;

OracleParameter^ parminuserpasswd =
UserPassCmd->Parameters->Add("inuserpasswd",OracleType::VarChar,USER_PASS);

parminuserpasswd->Direction = ParameterDirection::Input;

parminuserpasswd->Value = "Passwd";

OracleParameter^ parminapplid =
UserPassCmd->Parameters->Add("inapplid",OracleType::VarChar,USER_PASS);

parminapplid->Direction = ParameterDirection::Input;

parminapplid->Value = "Generic Apps";

OracleParameter^ parmoutuserid =
UserPassCmd->Parameters->Add("outuserid",OracleType::VarChar,USER_PASS);

parmoutuserid->Direction = ParameterDirection::Output;

OracleParameter^ parmoutuserpasswd =
UserPassCmd->Parameters->Add("outuserpasswd",OracleType::VarChar,USER_PASS);

parmoutuserpasswd->Direction = ParameterDirection::Output;

OracleParameter^ parmoutrc =
UserPassCmd->Parameters->Add("outrc",OracleType::Int16);

parmoutrc->Direction = ParameterDirection::Output;

OracleParameter^ parmoutmess =
UserPassCmd->Parameters->Add("outmess",OracleType::VarChar,TEXT_LINE);

parmoutmess->Direction = ParameterDirection::Output;

UserPassCmd->ExecuteNonQuery();

This stored procedure executes without issues from an Oracle Forms app.

Thanks

Carol K

I think Fallout 3 would make a great table. I'd rather see an original
game, but they could even retheme WOF with Fallout. Change the
contestants to Vault Boy bobbleheads, replace the wheel with a vault
door and so on. And they do have 2 sequels on the way.

That might even tempt me enough to buy NIB!

I think Harry Potter would make a great theme for a pinball, even
though it might be a bit late to get the license now instead of a few
years ago.
Retheming WOF is a good option I think (though maybe not with the HP
theme), for most negative comments about that game are about theme and
software, not the layout.
