This is in the windows.powershell newsgroup:

"Does anybody know if a Powershell script exists for listing the Domains
and Workgroups under "Microsoft Windows Networking" from a given Server
or PC?"

How does this discovery work? Is there a class for it?

Is it the "Computer Broswer" service that provides the view of local
domains and workgroups?
