Microsoft's new security update for .Net Framework 1.1 SP! won't
install on my computer (error code 0x66A). It seems this is due to a
missing or corrupted file, and the fix is to uninstall and reinstall
that version.
I have 2 questions:
1. Can I safely pull out just v. 1.1 and its associated patches
without messing up the other versions? Or do I have to uninstall and
reinstall the whole series from 1.1 to 3.5 (and what's the quickest
and easiest way to do that)?
2. A lot of sites recommend using the Windows Installer Cleanup
Utility for this. But I already use Revo Uninstaller. Would Revo work
as well as the Cleanup Utility?
Thanks very much!
